Courage. That is what we see within the women that we serve every single day. At Queen of Peace Center, our team is dedicated to walking with our clients to help lead them to a life or recovery and wellness, free from the trauma of substance use disorders.
As experts within the community of St. Louis, QOPC provides a family centered approach that encourages healing for the entire family, not just the mother. By engaging the children and family, we are able to make a larger impact on the entire family and community as a whole. Our greatest measure of long term success is for the children of our clients to break the cycle for the next generation and not need substance use treatment as an adult.
For over 35 years, Queen of Peace Center has provided prevention, education, treatment and housing for women, children and families within our community. Even as our world began to shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic, QOPC remained dedicated to the continuity of services for clients. When a woman comes to our agency with the courage to knock and ask for help, treatment begins immediately. Our services are tailored to each woman and may include a warm bed, nourishing meals, and a hot shower for her and her children – luxuries many have not had in weeks, months, or even years.
The amazing work that Queen of Peace Center provides to our community would not be possible without the continue dedication and integrity of our staff and your support.
