Women’s Behavioral Health Treatment Program (CSTAR)

CSTAR (Comprehensive Substance Abuse Treatment and Rehabilitation) is a residential and outpatient treatment program for women with addictions and their children, certified by the State of Missouri, Department of Alcohol & Drug Abuse and accredited by COA.

The program is unique in its gender specificity. It is the largest women and children’s CSTAR program in the state and boasts the largest number of drug-free births. CSTAR is a nationally recognized program in the field of chemical dependency. CSTAR provides the necessary social and medical support services, daycare and transportation, which helps low-income women access treatment.

These services are provided at Cathedral Tower and include:

  • Three levels of care
  • Dual diagnosis track
  • Trauma and addiction track
  • Individual, group and family counseling led by professionals
  • Peer and father support
  • Residential services 24 hours a day and outpatient services from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Friday
  • Childcare through Peace for Kids and transportation available
