Queen of Peace Center and Saint Louis Mental Health Board Partner to Provide Hope for Homeless Families

With a housing grant from the Saint Louis Mental Health Board (MHB), Queen of Peace Center (QOPC) opened a multi-family apartment building for women with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. The apartment building, located at West Florissant and Pope in North Saint Louis City, is situated across the street from O’Fallon Park. The twelve apartment units provide permanent, supportive housing for women and their children. The building, referred to as “Pope”, opened in the summer of 2011. QOPC will be planning an open house in the summer of 2012 to honor MHB for their commitment and dedication the community.
